However, my White Sapphire's design is based around how the real-world White Sapphire is often treated as a Diamond substitute due to their almost identical appearance. Those familiar with the show know that Sapphires all have similar designs: short, wear a traditional dress and have only one eye that's usually covered by their hair and most Sapphire gemsonas follow that trend. While I'm definitely not the first to do this, as many people have designed their own White Sapphires, I decided to take her design in a different direction. (Also, important note, keep in mind that this character, and ideas for her backstory, were designed long before Season 5 of Steven Universe ended, so it doesn't take into account the later events of the series, including the Movie and Steven Universe Future) It's a bit awkward to post this now that the show and its epilogue finished airing a while back, but I liked this design and concept so much that I still wanted to post it anyway.
